The difference of GI and GL?
Although they have the same coating layer (g/㎡), galvalume has better corrosion resistance. Galvalume (GL) is not suitable for cutting and welding because after cutting some surfaces may be exposed to corrosion.

127.4 is divided by the thickness of the color steel (e.g. 0.35mm) and then divided by the width of the coil (e.g. 1.2m), the result is meters per ton. 127.4/0.35/1.25=291 M

GL parameters
Thickness
Thickness ranges from 0.18 to 2.5mm. The thinner, the more expensive because the thinner coil takes more processing time and more Al-Zn per ton.
Al-Zn coated quantity
Some factories market Al-Zn coated steel, but their AL content is less than 55%, and their product can not perform the full advantages of galvalume.
Raw material
The raw material of galvalume steel doesn't have deep draw grade, sometimes high strength galvalume is used for roofing.
Width
The regular width is 914mm (3 feet), 1000mm, 1219mm (4 feet), 1250mm. The width can be customized.
Spangle
Spangle of galvalume is obviously different from galvanized steel. We have a picture to show the spangle on our website.
Anti-fingerprint oil
Colorful anti-fingerprint oil is optional for galvalume coil, it looks nice, and can be used for produce roofing directly.
