Hot Dip Galvanised Steel sheet
HDG Steel Sheet
Overview
Hot Dip Galvanised Steel Sheet is manufactured through cold-rolling steel sheets and then dipping them into molten zinc to create a durable and corrosion-resistant protective coating. This sheet is widely used in various applications due to its strength and durability.

Corrosion Resistance
The zinc coating acts as a sacrificial layer that protects the steel sheet from corrosive elements such as moisture and oxygen. When the steel sheet is exposed to these elements, the zinc layer corrodes first instead of the steel itself, preventing the steel from being damaged. This process is known as cathodic protection. In addition, the chemical bonding between the zinc and the steel creates a strong barrier that resists corrosion even in harsh environments.
After galvanizing, the steel plate obtains good corrosion resistance. Although the corrosion resistance of stainless steel is better, the cost of stainless steel is many times higher than that of galvanizing. Galvanizing is a cost-effective method of corrosion prevention.
Applications
Hot Dip Galvanised Steel Sheet is used in a wide range of applications, including construction, automotive, and manufacturing industries. It is commonly used for roofing, fencing, and structural applications due to its strength and durability.

Galvanised Steel Roof Sheets
Galvanised steel roof sheets are designed for use in roofing applications due to their durability and weather-resistant properties. They are commonly used in residential and commercial settings, providing long-lasting protection against the elements.
Galvanised Checker Plate
Galvanised checker plate is a popular type of galvanised steel sheet that is designed with raised diamonds or lines for added traction. It is commonly used in industrial settings, such as factories, warehouses, and loading docks.
Pre-Painted Galvanised Steel Sheet
Pre-Painted Galvanised Steel Sheet is galvanised steel sheet coated with a layer of paint for added protection and aesthetic appeal. It is commonly used in applications where appearance is important, such as building facades and interior walls.
