Hardness comparison of aluminum

1 Series: the softest type, which is suitable for sheet metal parts. and the hardness can only reach 20-30HB.

2 Series: hard aluminum, the hardness can reach 120HB after heat treatment.

3 Series: slightly harder than the first series, with little difference.

5 Series: medium hardness, usually around 40-60HB.

6 Series: it can be heat treated to T6 state, and the hardness can reach 80-90HB, which is also medium hardness.

7 Series: hard aluminum, the hardness after heat treatment is usually about 140-150HB.
